1 hour - Transition to Parenthood: A Guide to Nurturing a Strong Relationship

FREE - 1 hour presentation

1 hour concentrated curriculum to teach expecting (including adoption and fostering) and new parents how to nurture a strong relationship with your partner while welcoming a baby to the family.

In this presentation you will:

●Understand why the quality of your relationship is important.

●Identify ways that your relationship impacts your child’s development

●List reasons why the transition to parenthood can be difficult

●Learn six steps for keeping your relationship strong

Transition to Parenthood - Gottman's Bringing Baby Home Workshop -

$485/couple - 12 hour workshop

The Bringing Baby Home (BBH) workshop is a research-based and research-tested psychoeducational workshop that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families.

This workshop is for individuals interested in having a baby, expecting a new baby, or already parenting an infant or toddler.

In the BBH workshop, you and your partner will learn how to do the following:

  • Strengthen your friendship

  • Increase intimacy and affection

  • Work through conflict with greater ease

  • Maintain relationship satisfaction

  • Reduce hostility

  • Create positive parent

  • Child interactions

  • Ensure quality involvement for both parents

  • Reduce the incidence or severity of postpartum mood disorders
